For presentation and revaluation of this profession the ‘Berufsverband Bayerischer Detektive e.V.’ (BBD) furnishes evidence for the degree to be acquainted and also the competence of the BBD and his members connected therewith by specific activities and appearance outwards. This will be done by TV, radio, newspapers, articles in trade journals, specialized lectures as well as by presentation of the detective profession in adult education classes.

Each member receives protection and assistance from the association to all questions concerning the profession.
|
|
|
We advise our members gratuitously in all questions concerning detective activities.
|
|
|
Legal advices are executed by the association’s lawyer.

Assistance at professional problems
|
|
|
In case of professional problems the BBD supports his members by word and deed.
|
|
Further education / instruction
|
|
|
We offer courses in quality management, marketing and advertising in detective agencies. The further education courses are usually held in connection with the annual general meeting of the BBD.
|
|
|
The BBD executes annual further education seminars to all wished subjects in the detective trade at suggestions and proposals of our members.
|
|
|
Instructions of detectives are not on offer by the BBD, these are executed by ‘Detektiv-Ausbildungsinstitut Richard Heiss, owner Werner Mayerl to Augsburg.
|
|
|
The ‘Detektiv-Ausbildungsinstitut Richard Heiss’ was founded in 1964 in Bavaria as the first detective instruction institute and it’s accepted as an education institute for detectives by the ‘Berufsverband Bayerischer Detektive e.V.’
The serious and competent occupational education for detectives as a continuation course within the scope of adult education is held in form of direct lessons taking the educational rules as well as the professional rules and the regulations of the ‘Berufsverband Bayerischer Detektive e.V.’ as a basis. The BBD is in charge of the executed educations and conducts quality controls.

After successful examination of the detective education the course participants as well as each private or department store investigator who acts demonstrably since at least 3 years in the detective trade are able to take an examination for the professional detective or department store-specialized detective at the examining board of BBD.

|
After passed examination at the examining board of BBD the examinee receives the diploma “professional detective” or “specialized detective” as well as the original detective card of BBD, which encloses 12 pages issued in 3 languages.

Exchange of ideas
|
|
|
At the annual general meeting it’s possible to become acquainted with new colleagues, to establish and to increase already existing relations as well as to exchange experiences and ideas.

|
Negotiation of orders
|
|
|
The BBD passes detective orders on his members gratuitously at inquiries from lawyers, companies, industries, trade, banking establishments, insurance companies, hotels and private persons.

|
Communications of association news as well as topical information all around the detective's work and security branch.
|
|
Accident insurance
|
|
|
The BBD is the only European detective association in which the accident insurance is included in the annual membership fee. All BBD members are insured thereto in line of their professional detective activities until the age of 75.

|
Frame conditions company liability
|
|
|
It is possible about the association to get improved conditions for the company liability insurances. Thus the company liability about the association with 3 million people and damages to property and 100,000 property damages costs according to implementation between 264, - and 330, - in the year (no armed service)

The BBD makes a sample of an order-form as well as the general conditions of business available to his members.

Advertising with the quality seal of the BBD-membership on note-papers, etc.

The BBD represents the detective affairs in front of the legislator, public authorities and government agencies.

Membership
|
|
|
The membership in the ‘Berufsverband Bayerischer Detektive e.V.’ is voluntary and is open to each colleague, provided that he hasn’t any previous convictions and a blameless reputation and standing (see statutes § 3 - § 7) |
|
|
For the membership in the BBD are required: curriculum vitae, announcement of the trade, three passport photos and a police clearance. About the admission decides the presidency. |

|
The annual membership fee amounts to € 150,-, the admission fee € 50,- |
